Aviva (previously Norwich Union) with profits fund bonus rates announced
Many of our clients have with profits policies with Norwich Union or Commercial Union, now known as Aviva.
Today Aviva announced details of the final and bonus rates that investors in its with profits funds will receive in 2010. Aviva says £450m is set to be sent to with profits customers, with more than 90% having already received payment of between £214 and £1,230.
Aviva says despite the volatility of investment markets over the past two years; the vast majority of regular bonus rates have been maintained. Regular bonus rates for unitised policies are among those unchanged, with bonds receiving 2.75%, new pensions receiving 3.2% and offshore sterling receiving 3.5%. Final bonus rates for unitised life and pension policies on the other hand have been increased slightly, while some market value reductions have been adjusted so overall payouts are slightly increased or the same.
