- the average percentage change has been 131.4% from the lowest to the highest point. (Using the US Dow Jones index as the measure) - see the Credit Suisse research below.
- This time the recovery has taken only 9 months but is approximately 50% of the average at 67.7%
- Most of our client portfolios are now back to their pre 2008 levels
So the fall in the markets was less than the average and the recovery was faster than the average, so why all the fuss?!
